The main mission of Reneal IEO is bringing to developing countries a low-cost computing solution that is tailored for schools. Much of our time in the Philippines this year will be devoted to this mission: checking out current installations and scouting for new ones for 2014.

Reneal IEO will be traveling to the Philippines in March of 2013 to continue past projects and to evaluate candidate schools for 2014 installations. August of 2013 will find Reneal IEO in Tanzania. RIEO Board President Neal Bierbaum traveled to Tanzania for three weeks in October. He installed low-cost computer labs in three schools and one high school boarding home. Reneal International Education Outreach Incorporated is now officially a 501(c)(3) public charity with federal tax exempt status. Notification was received from the IRS on September 14, 2012, and tax exempt status is retroactive to April 18, 2012.
